Bill Decker grew up in Central New Jersey and has resided in several locations in New England, including Martha’s Vineyard and Connecticut. He currently resides in Acton, Massachusetts with his wife Diane.

Bill’s songs are lyrically oriented, but balanced with careful attention to melody and creative composition.

Many of his songs, which contain elemental imagery and universal themes within specific vignettes, draw on personal experiences, relationships, and political observations.

The songwriter, much like the novelist or playwright, may step outside the realm of his own experience in order to find the most fitting narrative voice and perspective.

Currently, much of Bill’s writing centers on a collaboration with Artist/3D Animator: Tom Carter.
